About Us

Family-founded, community-minded, and solution-focused

Since 1972, SMC has built a reputation for solving our customers' problems with innovative solutions. While we’ve grown in size and technology, our dedication to serving customers, employees, vendor partners, and communities remains unchanged.

Now part of the Green Bay Packaging family, we’ve joined forces with a like-minded organization focused on quality, innovation, and sustainability. Green Bay Packaging, a family-owned company founded in 1933, operates facilities across 16 states, specializing in corrugated packaging and more.

This partnership enhances SMC’s ability to deliver exceptional products and services from our Midwest facilities in Missouri, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. Together, we continue to uphold our commitment to quality, customized solutions, and community values, ensuring excellence for decades to come.

Our Mission Statement

We will provide value to our customers, employees, and shareholders through the manufacture of a product or delivery of a service in an ethically and environmentally responsible manner, to ensure the long-term, profitable growth of the company.

SMC: Then & Now

Investing in the community

We actively participate in civic, charitable, and social groups to have a positive impact on the community. We stay connected in our communities, not out of a sense of obligation, or because we believe we will benefit from that connection—we do it because SMC Cares.
